Blondie's Restaurant: A Culinary Gem in Shelton, WA

We went winter camping up at Browns Creek this weekend. Helped a friend get unstuck coming back. After a 2 hour recovery we needed good food! Thank you Tiffany for serving us and giving us the history of Blondies! We’ll stop by again next time we’re out on the peninsula!

Blondie's Restaurant truly stands out as a reliable gem in Shelton. Every time I visit, I'm consistently impressed, and their standard breakfast is nothing short of fantastic. It's not just a meal; it's a wonderfully prepared start to the day. The ingredients always taste fresh, from the perfectly cooked eggs to the crispy bacon and golden-brown toast. You can tell they put care into each plate, ensuring that classic breakfast experience is exactly what you hope for. It's the kind of consistency that makes you want to come back again and again, knowing you'll get a great meal every single time.

Ok the food was really good and well made! It would have been much better if served to us hot instead of cold. I think this restaurant will be good after ‘growing pains’ and has lots of potential. We walked in and waited to be seated. After about 5 minutes the girl finally looked up at us and said to seat ourselves, even though there were no signs about seating. The waitress was super sweet and nice and put in the effort. However the food took 30 minutes to arrive and we were there at 11 am on a Thursday, not busy at all. No one ever came back to check on us or refill the water or soda. When we needed more napkins we went and got them ourselves. It felt like they were short staffed or overwhelmed or just not up to speed yet. When the food arrived cold, we didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes so we ate a little bit and took most of it home to heat up and eat later. One interesting and notable feature-the booths are very very wide. The table was at least 18 inches from me on the seat and I am not a small person :) so I had to shimmy up to the edge or else each bite was being carried long distance from the plate to my mouth. I wish there was this much room on an airplane seat. I am including a picture in case this helps anyone and/or sometimes seating is too small. Over all I might try this place again in about 6 months and hopefully it will be more streamlined.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the size of the portions, especially for the decent price. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were delicious. I may return to visit Shelton in the future just to stop at Blondie's again.

This place is such a gem! We were super hungry and only in town running errands on a very hot day while camping. Consulted Google for a tasty place and Blondies did NOT disappoint! They have a different spin on some of the meals we ordered, but all the food was absolutely divine! My husband got the super spud full pound potato with oysters, spinach and sour cream. My daughter's spaghetti was a fantastic change from the norm. I had the meatloaf and left a very happy camper, indeed. When you go, definitely check out the ladies' room. It's pretty funny, and one of the cleanest restaurant bathrooms I've ever been in!

My family and I ate here for my husband’s graduation. There were 8 of us. The ladies were so welcoming, caring, and helpful. Thank you so much. Even though we were a big party. They were so sweet. You guys made our morning. There was a bigger party right next to us. Our food was delicious. Biscuits and gravy were really good. My husband and I shared it. Thank you, ladies! You guys are amazing.

Stopped here to fuel up after a family hike and everyone enjoyed the experience. Sweet servers, delicious burgers, mini-corn dogs, and fries, and a cool retro vibe. Did not disappoint!
